Happy Christmas everyone and greetings from Argentina! We celebrated our family Christmas on CHristmas eve and had a lovely Christmas dinner and opened all all our presents - haha all my presents were race related! I took great pleasure unwrapping my waterproof socks (that apparently don't let the sand in) and my training running shoes for South America! I then packed up everything and we drove to the airport! After a good 20 hours travelling (with no in-flight entertainment) I arrived in BEunos Aires yesterday morning and celebrated Christmas day with Holly my girlfriend and her friend Al, they've both been out in BA doing some teaching! I am now sitting in a cafe planning the next three weeks of travelling and training - exciting! It's boiling hot out here and I went for my first run this morning, it was great to finally run in the crazy heat and I'm really hoping to train hard over the next month out here! I'll keep you updated on how it all goes, we're staying put in BA for the next 4 days before heading over to Chile. 99 days till race day, excited and nervous!
